 FIRST INTEREST IN HOMEOPATHY

As a homeopath I first became interested in homeopathy because it helped with the little things in life - Arnica cream for bumps and bruises, Calendula ceam for healing cuts and scrapes.  It healed safely and quickly.  I then became interested in using homeopathy personally for slightly more serious health conditions, and it still worked well.  After bone surgery was helped without needing to use painkillers, and I was able to avoid the liverishness and grogginess of Panadol or Neurofen painkiller hangover, and the surgeon said the healing was unexpectedly rapid and remarkable, at 3 days it looked like 10 days of healing had occurred.  I was so impressed that I decided to study for a qualification in homeopathy, and commenced a three year degree in Homeopathic Medicine.

A relative and a step sister, grand daughter of Dudley Everitt the proprietor and  head pharmacist of Nelsons Homeopathics in London, who are homeopathic physicians to the Royal Family, gave much helpful advice over the years, from her treasure-trove of knowledge of homeopathy from the master, her grandfather.

I recently completed the 3 year degree course in Classical Homeopathy in 2016, at the Centre for Homeopathic Education (CHE) in London,  endorsed by the University of Middlesex.  This is currently the only degree level homeopathic course available in the U.K.

I'm currently a member of the Society of Homeopaths, and Simply Health the health insurance providers will cover the cost of homeopathic consultations  with Society of Homeopath qualified members.

In addition to consulting as a homeopath, I trained in Nutrition and Medical Herbalism gaining a degree in Medical Herbalism in 1999 from the University of Middlesex as a conversion degree, and a degree in Nutrition with Physiology from the University of Southampton in 1995.  Please see the other site:

In addition to homeopathy I have taught ''Nutrition through the life stages''  to third year Medical Herbalism degree students at Middlesex University for 9 years.

I was commissioned to write and deliver a 5-week course in Medical Herbalism to the Raworth College for Nutrition students.

I have been a guest lecturer on Medical Herbalism at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition, based in Richmond.

I lead herb walks in the summer to identify medicinal plants in various habitats,  for example the medicinal herbs found along the riverbank; the sandy heath; meadow land and chalky grassland medicinal plants.
